چکیده

Studying the life situations of trans persons reveals preceding and ongoing political, societal cultural transformations. This ethnographic study concerns individuals in Andalusia, Southern Spain, who do not fit sex gender assigned to them at birth. Christoph Imhof thus investigates issues leading back repressive situation during dictatorship Franco contemporary endeavours achievements regarding acceptance, citizenship self-determination. He highlights pioneering role that Andalusia has played within Spain since late 1990s shows how have experienced growing social, medical legal acceptance their non-conformity.
